Hi! I’m Gopiga Sri Gopinath, a 13-year-old innovator and a proud participant of the TKS Teen Accelerator Program. Currently in Grade 8, I’m passionate about cellular agriculture, biology, environmental sustainability, and genetic engineering. My love for science drives me to explore groundbreaking ideas that can create a better future.
One of my proudest achievements is winning a national-level Hackathon with my project, Binovate, a smart bin aimed at improving waste management. Through initiatives like this, I strive to address global challenges, particularly in sustainability and environmental health.
Outside of my scientific endeavours, I enjoy playing volleyball, badminton, and handball, which keep me active and inspired. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and collaborate with others who share my vision for making a positive impact.

2021: Won the 1st PLACE 🏆 competing in Skills Ontario regionals! Design Challenge: Cardboard 🚗 Car Race!
2022- Participated in Girls entrepreneurship 🚀 X coding Series by Canada Learning Code - Windsor 🍁 Chapter
2023- Participating in the European Space Agency - ESA's Moon Camp Discovery competition. Our “LunarPatrol" project aimed to design a sustainable moon camp for astronauts.
2024- Participated in the Coding and AI workshop at Toronto Metropolitan University . organized by Engineering Outreach Team .
2022- Won Gold medal in the 2022 Virtual Skills Ontario Competition - LEGO Robotics.
2023-Won national level hackathon competition at @hackergal! 🎉 My project, an innovative smart recycling bin called #Binovate, took home the top prize 🏆.
2024- Been Accepted into
The Knowledge Society (TKS) , world's top innovation program for teens solving problems for Google & Meta
2024-Conceptualized & designed Triher for Girls Who Start International Design Challenge Hackathon 2024, which focused on women's mental health!
2024- Thrilled to start my Exciting Journey with The Knowledge Society (TKS), Global Teen accelerator program 2024-2025. Toronto Cohort .
